The Rotary Club of Kitimat held their annual auction on Friday, November 25th and Saturday, November 26th. Viewing was on Friday, the bidding was on Saturday.

“The Annual Rotary Club Auction, raising money to give back to the community. We had lots of items donated this year including plane tickets, hotel vouchers, a beautiful diamond pendant from Cooks Jewellers,” said Bryan Salsbury, Rotary Club President.

Last years projects included annual scholarships, refurbishing the Heritage Gazebos and sending youth to the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camps. Internationally, they gave to the Uganda Forestry Project. The Rotary Club also sent a container to the Philippians filled with Dental Equipment and school items.

“Special thanks to all the businesses that donated in Kitimat and Terrace and everyone who comes down and supports us,” said Salsbury.
