Council meets tonight, Monday November 7th at 7:30 pm in the Council Chambers in the Public Safety Building.

There are five presentations. Dave Shannon from Douglas Channel Watch is presenting on Oil Spill Response, John Davies is talking about a community wildfire protection plan, Frank Mauro is asking for a Recreational subsidy for retirees, Allen Hewitson has the Coy Cup and Virgil Vales is introducing the Negotiating Team.

Councillor Randy Halyk has a motion coming forward to reveal what was said in the consulting reports to the public. Then the remuneration bylaw hits the table.

Under reports, Snow Valley Skating Club requests a travel grant, a report on a grant for Community Recreation, a request to sponsor the 2012 Coy Cup, invasive plants, a development permit, and a Temporary Commercial Use Permit.

Finally, under communications, there is a request for support of a BC Community Living Action Group.
