The fifth person to speak was Edwin Empinado, who introduced himself as a public servant, care giver and educator.
"Using this critical mind, and open-mindedness, this passionate heart to listen to your issues, and this hard working hand, committed to service to you,” said Empinado.
He wanted to bring change to Kitimat through participating and making informed decisions. Empinado wanted to promote community services better and catering to the needs of people with mobility challenges.
He promised to lead by example.
