What is the most significant reason you are running for Council?
I enjoy being on Kitimat Council. Kitimat is my home and I want to continue being part of its success. Kitimat has treated my endeavours as a business owner and events organizer generously so being on Council is payback in my way of thinking.
What issue in our community do you see as the largest hurdle for the success in Kitimat?
The purchase of land for future expansion has become an issue. Weather as evidenced in the past couple of years, still has an effect on attracting and keeping people in our community, whether youth or seniors. Marina space is an issue for tourist attraction, as is Radley park. Working together with our Haisla neighbours will enhance our future.
What is your stance on Enbridge, In Favour of, Opposed too or Neutral? Why?
I have chosen to remain neutral. I believe by doing so, other players have come to Kitimat to have a look or have invested here.
When we started this election, there were 13 candidates for Alderman. This number has dropped to twelve. Is thirteen a lucky number for Kitimat or is Twelve? Why?
Numbers are not as important as is that Kitimat does have a choice of who they want to represent them on Council.
Kitimat is a wonderful blend of industry and nature.
Neutral= fence sitting
