REPORTING · 31st August 2011
After 10 days of hard work, training and rehearsal, Kitimat Arts for Youth Summer Drama camp put on their production of Hansel and Gretel on Friday, August 26th for a packed house of parents and friends to the performing arts.
Hansel was played by Brodie Chartrand and Gretel was played by Mya Goncalves-Fois. The play was a different take on the classic fairy tale. The children involved did an excellent job.
This is a camp KAFY would like to again next year provided the funding is in place. For this year’s camp grants had been given to KAFY from BC Gaming, the District of Kitimat and the Rotary Club of Kitimat.
