The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, BC Canada (AMJ), in collaboration with the Interfaith Symposium will host a conference on Tuesday, September 13th, 2011 at Mount Elizabeth Theatre, located on 1491 Kingfisher Ave N, Kitimat, B.C. The theme of the event is “Reconciling Existence of God and Human Suffering”

Religious scholars from Aboriginal faith, Christianity, Judaism, Sikhism, and Islam along with many dignitaries from Kitimat, scholars, general public and students are expected to attend this Conference.

This conference is being organized with cooperation from The Christ the King Parish Catholic Church, Baptist Chirch, Aboriginal Community, , Jewish Brothers & Sisters, and Sikh Brothers & Sisters. Councilor Rob Goffinet will be the Presiding Chair and Moderator of this event.

Mr. Frank Austin will represent Aboriginal faith, Mr. Paul Cornthwaite will be representing Christianity, Mr. Michael Barakusky will represent Judaism, Mr. Davinder Singh Sangha will represent Sikhism views, and Mr. Muhammad Afzal Mirza will present Islamic point of view on the topic.
