Today, August 18, 2011, BC Conservations Officers successfully trapped a lone wolverine in the Meldrum Street area of Kitimat, BC. The wolverine weighed in around 20 lbs and from head to tail appeared to be about 3 feet.
A press release will be issued by the CO's office, but the plan was to relocate the animal.

I'm sure there are many beautiful flower gardens that have had a reprieve from being molested by the many wandering cats the Wolverine allegedly disposed of. When I lived in Dawson Creek there were a group of fur foxes released because of low prices. They made their way through town and I didn't see a roaming cat for weeks. My garden thrived for a short while.
Great comment Gerry

I agree, it would have been one big wolverine! The thing is, this is not the only wolverine ... and there is proof, unless quite a few Kitimat residents are liars :)

If this wolverine ate eighty cats in that short of a time period he would weigh like..... 200 pounds at least!
