Canada Day plans are underway and this year’s theme is Canada Goes Green. The office for Festivals Kitimat is open and this is the place to go to learn about July 1st activities and plans for times around this date.

They are working on plans for Canada and so far, the events include the Dragon Boat Regatta, the Hill Climb, the Show and Shine, Helicopter Rides, Funzone, Food Fairs, Texas Hold-em poker, the Parade and a Pancake Breakfast.

Festivals Kitimat is looking for Volunteers for Canada Day. People can apply to be a volunteer for Canada Day at the office or email them at festivalskitimathotmail.com or call them at 250-632-5058.
