Tomorrow, Sunday February 27th is a town hall meeting held by Halibut Allocation Task Force at 2 pm at the Rod and Gun.
88% of the Halibut have been allocated to comercial liscense holders while 12% has been allocated to the sports fisher. This means a shorter season when the 12% gets used up and sports fishers have to pay license holders for more. It is privatisation of another resource.
