A complete white out at 11:30 am on Highway 16 at Kasiks
NEWS RELEASE · 6th February 2011
Merv Ritchie
Drive BC reports compact and slippery sections on Highway 16 and closer to Prince Rupert, slush. They also report 11 kilometers of falling ice, the section near to Carwash Rock.

The Drive BC Camera at Kasiks reveals the reality of driving between Terrace and Prince Rupert today. It is the opening ceremonies of the All Native Basketball Tournament tonight, February 6, at 8 pm. If you are driving, take extra time and extra clothing. Extra clothing and supplies too, should you come across someone stranded who was unprepared for these extreme winter conditions.

We attach screen shots from the Drive BC cameras in the region for your interest.
