The Kitimat Health Advocacy Group meets on Saturday, October 15th at 9:30 am for their monthly meeting on health care in Kitimat. The meeting is a public meeting at the Chalet.
The meeting acts as a clearing house for the people of Kitimat to discuss health care issues in the community.
In addition to members of the community, representatives of the Hospital and City Councillors also attend the KHAG meetings.
In the recent past, KHAG has discussed topics including having a representative from Kitimat on the NHA Board, Chemotherapy among other topics.
Tomorrow's meeting will include a discussion on the Ultrasound, which Councillor Rob Goffinet, also the Chair of KHAG, described as an important issue and hoped the Doctors and Union will report on a solution to the problem.
