REPORTING · 28th September 2010
Walter McFarlane
On Saturday, September 25th, Kitimat Understanding The Environment (KUTE) held their Fall Seed and Plant exchange. Although it started slow, plants soon began to gather in the depot.

“We are having a seed and plant exchange, this is our fall edition, we usually have one in the Spring too,” said Barb Hall. “We are giving people a place, an area to bring their seeds and plants, a place to exchange their seeds and plants, for example, a lot of people divide their perennials, this is the place to bring them.”

KUTE had also planned a ‘River Cleanup’ for Sunday, September 26th. However, due to the rain and the raising waters of the Kitimat River, they decided to cancel the event.
