It was pouring down rain on Friday, September 24th but that did not stop senior citizens from coming down to the Snowflake Seniors Society to open up their patio.
“What is this, every time I plan something for this patio, it rains. Not only rains, Monsoons,” joked Marcy Rice who had stepped up to the microphone to announce the day’s activities.
The day doubled as a fall opener to the Senior’s Society. A Barbecue lunch was served followed by pie made by the Anglican Church of Kitimat. Following lunch, there was a sing-a-long, floor curling and carpet bowling.
