The Kitimat First United Church has a new minister, Reverend Larry Scott. His first Service was delivered on Sunday September 5th.
“The church was looking for a new minister and I was looking for a new Church and we noticed each other. After coming here and the interview experience, I was quite taken with the congregation and [decided] Kitimat is where I should be,” said Scott.
Scott comes to Kitimat from Victoria’s James Bay United Church located a few blocks behind the parliament building.
“Kitimat is such a friendly and welcoming community,” said Scott.
The Church will be hosting their Annual Fall Feast at the Legion on Saturday, October 2nd. Tickets are still available.
