Nicole Fisk wins a return trip and two nights accommodation in Vancouver donated by Hawkair and Century Plaza

There were plenty of prizes at the fish derby last weekend. Mayor Joanne Monaghan was on hand to help hand them out.

Robyn Alderman, Richard Velho and Jacqui Velho won a rod and reel combo for their entries into the Scavenger Hunt.

There were four grand prizes for youth. Kiarra Lundbek won a collection of NHL Figures and a clock, Douglas Venn won a red Supercycle Burner, Haily Gardener won a Fishing Rod and Reel while Sophia Young won a Green Kranked Factor Bike.

As for the grand prizes for the older ‘Kids,’ Rick Taylor won a float tube. Mark Pecheco won a 1 night Accomodation and breakfast for 2 at Channel’s Edge Inn, Stewart Young won a 1 Night Accommodation at Minette Bay Lodge, Susan Trogi won a Drift on the Kitimat River and Trevor James won a Jetboat Charter. The Grand prize, a return trip and two nights accommodation in Vancouver donated by Hawkair and Century Plaza went to Nicole Fisk.

Once again, the winners of the largest fish in the categories of Junior and Women’s Largest Coho was Sarah Chaulk who won a pair of Rod & Reels. The Largest Coho went to James Alderman who won $1,000. The Largest Halibut went to Dean Melo who also won $1,000.
