Nathan and Diana Cullen are proud to introduce their sons, Jackson Donald Cullen and Elliot D’Arcy Cullen.
The full-term fraternal twin babies were born early on August 6th at Mills Memorial in Terrace, BC. Elliot D’Arcy Cullen was born at 12:09 AM weighing in at 5 and half pounds and Jackson Donald Cullen was born at 12:11 AM weighing in at 7 pounds 11 ounces.
The Cullens are back home in Smithers with their new family. “It feels great to be back home and adjusting to life with two new babies”, said Cullen today. We want to thank the many well-wishes we've been receiving from folks all across the Northwest and Canada.”
“I’ve got a whole new definition of busy and jetlag is going to seem like a walk in the park after this”, Cullen commented. “The community has been incredibly supportive and welcoming to our children and I can’t properly express how much that means to us”, he said.
The Cullens, who met in Smithers and were married there in August 2005, will continue to live in Smithers, where Diana has been a teacher-on-call with School District 54 while also completing her Master's thesis in Canadian Studies.
Cullen was elected MP in June 2004 and re-elected in January 2006 and October 2008.
