With August approaching, the Kitimat Museum and Achieves is calling on artists to enter paintings in “Reflections: Where I Am.”
“The Reflections Exhibit is known as the Exhibit Formerly Known as ‘Fishy Fishy’ but we decided we would change the name of the exhibit so it would not just be about fish but more about where we are in the Northwest, where people are in their artwork so we hope that the pieces we receive will reflect peoples life in the Northwest,” said Angela Eastman.
The call went out for all BC artists to submit pieces of art. The exhibit will run from the 20th of August to the 2nd of October. There is a people’s choice award. In addition, the Museum will be raffling off a quilt courtesy of the Kitimat Quilter’s Guild and the money will be divided between both groups.
