Between July 13th and July 16th, Kitimat RCMP members executed 3 separate Drug search warrants in the Kitimat area.
The warrants were executed at a townhouse on Wedeene St., a residence out in Kitimaat Village, and a trailer on Columbia Ave.
Between the 3 residences, a substantial amount packaged marijuana, approximately 10 pounds, ready for distribution, was seized. The street value of just one pound of marijuana can range from $2500 to $3500.
In addition, cash drug paraphernalia, and marijuana growing equipment were also seized. Charges will be pending against individuals associated to these residences.

its about time Kitimat takes a page from what Prince George is doing and get rid of the no good drug dealers in town. To bad these people will be back on the streets in no time
