The Museum is holding it’s summer of adventure again this summer. Programs run from July 5th to August 13th. Parents are advised to sign up now because spaces are limited.
“We are going to be going around Kitimat and seeing all sorts of places that people don’t really know about. A lot of our programs here are based on the history of Kitimat,” said Valerie Christianson.
The programs deal with multiculturalism from around the world, day trips around Kitimat, a Bear Aware program, a week on Earth and a blast to the past. The finally is a trip to Alcan Beach.
“It will be lots of fun so people should come,” said Christianson.
“I think it’s really important for kids to come and learn about this town they are going to grow up in,” said Audriana Monteiro.
