Anti up, the Second Annual Canada Day Charity Poker Tournament took place in the community room of the Riverlodge Recreation Centre. Tables were busy and stakes were high.

“A table sits and goes, you play your table, you win your table and your name goes into a draw for some of the donated prizes from local merchants,” said Berny James.

First prize this year is a 6000 BTU stainless steel Barbecue. After hours of playing, prizes were distributed to the players. The winner of the Barbecue was Rob Abreu.
