The Bull-O-Rama is fast approaching. Tickets are selling and last year, the show was spectacular. Leading up to the big show is Rodeo Week.

“Rodeo week starts the week of the Bull-O-Rama which will be starting about the 7th and there’ll be, once again, the store fronts dress up and there’s a colouring contest which is going to happen in the mall for all the young kids. On the 11th is our sponsor night, everybody has to have an invitation to,” said Debbie Oviatt.

“On the 12th, we start off with a pancake breakfast in the morning and during that breakfast, there is also a dog show for anybody who has purchased a pancake breakfast ticket and main show starts at 7:00 which follows through to the beer gardens dance.”

All the funds from the Pancake Breakfast, located at Tamitik, go to the Looking For Love Animal Shelter Project as well as a good portion of the proceeds from the Bull-O-Rama.

There are 30 bull riders scheduled from all over British Columbia and Alberta and 40 Bulls provided by C+ Rodeos, Earl and Roy Call. This year’s half time show is a dog and clown show entitled “The Copper Town Clown.”

Tickets are available at Kal Tire and Cook's Jewellers in both Kitimat and Terrace as well as Book Masters in Kitimat. “They are starting to really go so you’d better not wait like last year,” said Oviatt.
