Festivals Kitimat
Come out and celebrate Canada Day in Kitimat from June 12th- July 10th as there are many exciting events planned!

This year, here are the kick off events leading up to our Canada Day Celebrations starting with Bull-O-Rama on June 12th at the Tamitik arena, from 7-9p.m.,contact Jack Oviatt at 632-4831 for more info.

Then on Saturday, June 19th, the 2nd Annual Kitimat Valley Fun Run/Walk will be happening at Radley Park at 9am., make sure you register the day before the event, as there will be no registration on the day of the event, contact Riverlodge at 632-8970.

The Rod & Gun will also be hosting a Family Fishing Day again on Sunday, June 20th with food and fun for everyone, contact Jason Vines at 250-632-3151.

Here is a seek peek of what’s new this year on July 1st…Liberal Botelho will be organizing a Ball Hockey Tournament in the tennis courts during July 1st, so gather your team together and call him at 250-632-7601, to register. Forms will soon be available at the Festivals office. Also, the Texas Hold-Em Poker Tournament will be located in the Community room at Riverlodge from 1-9p.m., so contact Bernie James at 250-632-4795 for more info.

July 1st will start out with the Traditional Pancake Breakfast with the Kitimat Kiwanis Club located at the Upper City Centre Mall Entrance. For more information, call Tim Gleig at 632-8900.

Forms are now available at the office for performers, musicians, vendors, community groups and parade participants at our office. Parade forms are also available at Riverlodge.
