BC Northern Winter Games
The Northern BC Winter Games Society has added four new members to their board at the Annual General Meeting on April 24, 2010.

Elected to the position of Director of Public Relations is Kevin Jeffery. Kevin is a Terrace resident who was appointed to the Public Relations role in 2009. Kevin has been with the society since 2006 in the role of Regional Representative for the Kitimat-Stikine region.

Elected to the position of Director of Sport is Lorraine Rathjen. Lorraine is a Prince George resident who has been with the society since 2006 in the role of Regional Representative for the Fraser Fort George region.

Appointed to the position of Vice President is Raye McMeeken. Raye is a Mackenzie resident who most recently was the Host President of the 2009 Northern BC Winter Games that were held in Mackenzie. Raye assisted the society this past year in a Regional Representative role for the Fraser Fort George region.

Appointed to the position of Secretary is Sandra Coldwell. Sandra is a 100 Mile House resident who most recently was the Host Director of Volunteers at the 2009 Northern BC Winter Games that were held in Mackenzie. Sandra assisted the society this past year in a Regional Representative role for the Fraser Fort George region.

With these additions, we have had three board members move on. Bob Irwin finished his term as Past President. Curtis Redpath finished his position as Vice President. Marco D’Agostino finished his position as Secretary. All three served on the board in various capacities over the years and their knowledge and input will be missed.

Bid packages for the 2013 and 2015 Northern BC Winter Games will be sent to all Municipalities north of Clinton later this Spring.
