Music & Friends is very excited to announce today that Desperado (the premier Eagles’ cover band from California) will perform at this years “Music & Friends” festival July 16 and 17, 2010 in Terrace, B.C.
Hailed as the best Eagle’s Tribute Band in the world, this talented quintet brings an authentic and accurate representation of the famous group to each performance. Inspired by the distinct musical style of 1960s and 1970s Southern California, Desperado aims to revitalize the melodic and profound story telling prominent in music of the era. Desperado lead singer Aaron Broering, whose musical career began at an early age, has toured across the United States as lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist for various groups opening for noted performers such as Dwight Yoakam and LeAnne Rimes. He has also shared billing with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Juice Newton as part of the Sam Morrison Band in 2000.
“We are very excited to welcome such noted talent to this years festival”, says “Music & Friends” President Clarence Nyce. “As a small festival we aim to provide quality entertainment that is within our capacity to deliver. We feel that it is hard working, talented groups like Desperado that not only compliments the regional talent that Music & Friends highlights each Festival, but is sure to be a crowd pleaser as well.”
