When asked what uncertainty meant, Medeiros replied: “Some of our skaters that are moving because their parents have lost their jobs and things like that and with the announcement of KIR closing there is a lot of uncertainty to what next year is going to bring to us,” said Cythia.
The night began Test/Competitive Skaters skating to believe by Nikki Yanofsky and ended with a Finale with all the skaters on the ice. The skaters came from a range of ability including PreTest, PreCanskate, Canskate, Juniors as well as dazzling displays of solo and interpretive performances. The volunteers did an excellent job in bringing this event about and the skating club finished the year with an event they could be proud of.
