The Girl Guide organization in Kitimat was at SuperValu on Saturday, February 13th to sell baked goods and hotdogs to raise money to send to Haiti.

“We’re raising money for the Haiti Girl Guides. We have an international adviser, Marjorie Phelps, and she came in to speak to the girls last week about Haiti and told the girls that in Haiti, the Girl Guides run Day Care Centres and Kindergarten for the small children and of course, everything has been decimated there with the earthquake. The girls decided they want to have the bake sale and hot dog sale to raise money to help the Girl Guides in Haiti to rebuild their child care program,” said Lois Godfrey.
