The snow was perfect at Riverlodge for the Sunday event of the Winter Festival. Snowmobile Rides were offered to Kitimat Youth Courtasy of the Kitimat Snowmobile and Hiking club.
“In conjunction with the winter Festival, we are offering snowmobile rides for kids,“ said Ted Beauchamp president of the Kitimat Kitimat Snowmobile and Hiking club.
Between 20-30 kids came out to ride the snowmobiles. One snowmobiler commented that the children, as well as some of the adults, had a difficult time getting off the snowmobiles. Hot Dogs and drinks were available. Beauchamp invited Kitimat snowmobilers to get involved with the club.
