After some indecision and the sudden retirement of BCAHA Senior Hockey Director, Bob James, it took a lengthy conference call with potential participants to set dates for the 2010 B.C. Senior AA hockey championships, the Coy Cup. But the Cup is now set to be held in Powell River from March 16 to March 20.

The Powell River Regals will host, the Mid-Island Blazers have qualified to participate as Vancouver Island representatives. The CIHL Rio-Tinto Cup champions will also compete, as will the Rio-Tinto Cup runner up.

Dawson Creek Canucks had also been expected to compete, but reluctantly pulled out as the identified a clash with their own league playoff schedule.
