The final rock knocked their last rock out of the game and gave Team Venman enough points to win the Division 8-6.
“We got down in the game early, their skip, Jim Boguski got some really fantastic shots. […] We got behind… a lot. […] We were four down and we needed 4 to win and 3 to tie and we managed to squeeze out the win. […] Never give up. You never know what could happen,” said Ron Venman, skip of the Venman team.
With the tournament over, the trophies, plaques and prizes were awarded to each team.
Allen Parker, Trever Sandbeig, Ron Laradat and Gord Muro are awarded the B Division prizes.
Ron Venman, Jim Yakiwchuk, Walter McLellan and Kosta Sainin took home the prizes for C Division
D Devision's winners were Derek deGoeij, Rick Jones, Garth Scott and Steve McGrath
