The Kitimat Rotary Club is having their annual Silent Auction in Kitimat this weekend. A store in the upper level of the City Centre Mall was packed with people on Friday, November 27th for the prebid and the main auction will take place tomorrow on Saturday, November 28th.

“We have the Kitimat Rotary Silent Auction. We have it every year. This year, we have 250 items up for bid,” said Linda Campbell.

Friday, November 27th is the prebid where people can come in, look at the items that are going on the auction. Tomorrow, the bidding starts and the first lot completes at 12:30. The final lot will complete at 5:30 pm.

The money from the auction will go to different local programs, scholarships and other community projects.
