Welcome to the Kitimat Daily Website.
Ahead of the curve, as always, we started this as a website and later began printing a small newsprint tabloid, “The Regional Report”, to provide awareness of this service to the community. We no longer print the paper. Just like some of the major papers around the world we have brought the future to the Northwest. Current news, as it happens. But we have taken it one step further. We offer you the use of the service to make this a truly “In Touch” community news site. There is no internet website in the Northwest that provides such a complete and inclusive service and no other site that can boast of such a large audience. This is because it is your site; no government or corporate influence. Come along for the ride and share the news with your family and friends. Welcome to the future!
Below are instructions for using the site.
Contributing Though it may not be news to everyone, what your group or organization is doing in the community is news to someone. Letting people know what your group is doing may spark interest from potential members as well as drawing attention toward public events.
Although we try, our staff cannot be everywhere at once. You can contribute an article or letter to the editor by clicking

ContactingIf you need to contact the staff of the Kitimat Daily Website for any reason, click

Try to keep the language at a level that you would use in front of your grandmother. You do not have to insult a person you disagree with. In addition, we also require a phone number to verify who you are before we approve a comment. If we don’t know who you are, we will
NOT post your comment. We will confirm your identity with a phone call.
Calendar:The community calendar is another boon to most groups in the community. Are you having a public event or activity that you want people to know about and attend? Mark the date on the Calendar and tell us about it. You can access the Calendar by clicking
hereClassified adds.Free classifieds. What more can I say. Announce a birth, birthday, graduation, wedding or tell people about the passing of a loved one. Sell that old vehicle or some of the clutter that you do not use anymore but someone else might. All buy, sell and trades must include the name of the item, the price and a local phone number in the title.
